Flea and tick season is in full swing. And our dog Reese is an important part of our family, so when I was given the chance to try a new and money saving flea and tick treatment I was thrilled.  One quick and easy application of PetArmor kills fleas, ticks, and chewing lice for 30 days. It’s that simple.

New PetArmor™ offers the same effectiveness as the leading-brand Frontline® – but can be purchased at a significant savings. The product is easy to use, contains the same #1 vet-recommended active ingredient (fipronil), is available at Walmart and Sam’s Club, and will be sold at additional retailers later this year.

“PetArmor is a generic version of Frontline with the same active ingredient—fipronil. The fipronil patent (U.S. Patent # 5,232,940) has expired, clearing the way for generic products to be available. We’ve made it up to 50% less expensive* and available in stores where you shop, because we’d like to help more pets stay flea and tick free.”

As a busy mom who wants the best value for my family, I was offered the chance to try PetArmor for free, along with a gift pack to help enjoy the outdoors with my family our dog Reese without worrying about fleas and ticks for him and sunburn for us.

I received the “Take a Hike” gift pack. Which is valued at ($110), and includes a three-month sample new PetArmor (a $25 - $35 value), as well as the below items:

  • Sling-style backpack
  • Aluminum sports water bottle
  • Sunscreen (Coppertone SPORT, SPF 50)
  • Travel-friendly pet water bowl
  • Custom-printed pet bandana (so they can hit the trail in style)
  • A waterproof digital camera (to capture the memories when hiking with your family)

Now we have had some fun with all of the items, the waterproof camera has been a huge hit in the swimming pool and we look forward to using it on our trip to the ocean this summer.  Most importantly PetArmor™ has been just as effective as they named brand we use to use. I am glad to see that there are generic medications available for dogs just as there are generic medications for humans. My pet's health us just as important to me as my families.

Now PetArmor is also involved with the ASPCA...

PetArmor is all about providing greater access to affordable pet medications in support of better health for all pets. As an official flea and tick treatment of the ASPCA, PetArmor protection will be offered to dogs and cats in the ASPCA’s Adoption Center and clinic. Additionally, we are working with the ASPCA to launch the PetArmor Protection Pledge to create a community dedicated to better pet health. We encourage you to visit our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/PetArmor) to take the pledge. Each pledge taken triggers a $1 donation to the ASPCA, up to a maximum of $100,000, to help pets in need. We hope you’ll take the pledge and rally others to do the same.
