The First Illuminated Dog Leash |

I was recently given the chance to review a great new product for families with dogs. The First Illuminated Dog Leash. This is a great leash that lights up for night walking up to a 1/4 mile of visibility. With either a steady on light or a flashing light both are great for keeping you and your pet safe while walking at night! Designed To Help Rescue and Shelter Pets The Pup Crawl Lights-Up Leash™ is a fun and fashionable illuminated dog leash that helps pets and their owners stand out from the crowd. Visible from a quarter of a mile away in the dark, the leash makes dimly lit suburban roads safer and reclaims city sidewalks from recklessly two-wheeling deliverymen. The leash is also an unparalleled conversation piece (perfect for striking up the conversation you’ve been meaning to have with that fellow dog-lover in your neighborhood.) But the leash protects more than the pooches and owners who use it. The Pup Crawl Leash also helps shelter and rescue animals across the country; $3 from every leash goes directly to a local animal rescue or shelter organization (more than 350 rescues in 46 states are currently participating) or to Pets for Life NYC – a surrender-prevention program of the Humane Society of the United States. About The Leash
About The Pup Crawl In 2009, a group of friends in Brooklyn heard that one million pets would lose their homes to foreclosure and that animal shelters and rescues were being hit hard by the financial crisis. They organized a nighttime dog walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to shed light on the problem. By the time that first “Pup Crawl” took place, 300 dogs and their owners signed on and raised thousands of dollars for shelter and rescue organizations in New York, Florida and California. Organizations across the country asked if they could get involved. The Pup Crawl Lights-Up Leash answers that call and hopes to light up the streets of America to help pets in need. To date, additional Pup Crawls have taken place in Arizona, California and Pennsylvania with more in the works! To learn more, please visit us at www.thepupcrawl.com. |
