As many know I wasn't able to make it to Chicago for the Kenmore summit. :( I was beyond disappointed. My flight was cancelled due to snow in Chicago which was also heading towards Detroit Metro Airport. The really upsetting thing about the whole ordeal is that both Chicago and Detroit have been having unusually mellow and warm winter. This snow storm which dropped only about 7 inches of snow was the first "storm" of the season. And yes I realize 7 inches sounds like alot, but to me is not much at all.  Luckily I met a fellow blogger at the airport, we were on the same flight. Hope from A Busy Mom's Slow Cooker Adventures! So we were able to be frustrated together. She ended up being the luckier of the 2 of us. We both were re-booked on a morning flight, She checked in and got a seat, when I went to check in the flight was full and I was told I would be on standby. Sorry, I was not going to spend another day at the airport! I regrettably called my Kenmore contact and apologized I wouldn't be able to make it. The rep understood completely, the poor thing was fielding calls ALL day from stranded bloggers. I was not the only one who missed it.

I was recently asked to try out 2 supplements. The first is Oligonol, is say it will increase blood flow,reduce fatigue, body fat (WOO HOO) and slow wrinkles! Well I can tell you that I have had ore energy and lost 4 lbs since taking this. which makes sense, I have more blood flow more energy which has made me more active all that equals weight loss.

The other supplement is Active hexose correlated compound.   AHCC is a immune system supplement, which I was just telling my husband the other day that I hadn't had a cold or stuffy nose since before Christmas. Typically I get sick around Halloween and continue not feeling well for months, March or so.

My husband and I decided this was finally the year I was going to stay home for the summer. I’ve been a teacher for the better part of a decade but with the economy the way it was, it made sense for me to get a summer job during the summers to bring in a little extra cash. Our kids are at that age, though, where we’d have to hire a babysitter to watch them anyway which would eat up any extra money I was making, so it just made sense for me to stay home and watch them while they were out of school. I convinced my husband to look at HOME security FAMILYwith me since I’d be home so often by myself and he thought it was a great idea. We talked to the kids about what was going to be expected of them and laid out house rules for the summer that they’ll be expected to follow. I’m looking forward to some time off and some play time with the kids!
