Mom told me to look into bank card processing before I got too involved in the website and she was right – even for something as simple as custom made drapes you’ve got to do a lot of background to make sure everything’s all secure before you take off. I had no idea what I was doing, only that I liked being able to help friends of mine make their homes a place they were proud of until my sister Jeanne suggested I make a business out of this. Now I spend my days sewing and creating custom draperies for people I don’t even know but I have to tell you, I’m loving every minute of it! I think this is something I’m going to do for a long time to come and you know, one day I think things are really going to look up for me and my little drapery business. Right now I’m just online but someday I think I may even have a store which is going to make it all real!
